Accessibility at Kurenai
Kurenai exists so that every guest can reach a restaurant — including the guests a website was never going to work for. A caller who can't use a screen talks to us; a guest who can't use a phone gets the same links and confirmations by text. We hold our own website to the same idea.
Our standard
kurenai.ai targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We test contrast by measurement, keep every control keyboard-operable with a visible focus state, provide text alternatives, respect reduced-motion preferences, and announce the page language to assistive technology in both English and Spanish — the same two languages our receptionist speaks.
Known limitations
- The interactive product demo is served by a separate application and may not yet meet the same standard everywhere; it is under review.
- Call recordings shared with restaurant owners are audio-first; owners receive full text transcripts of every call alongside them.
